Finally I then install the PMDG's 737NGX 6.0.0.2 build 4250 from 24th Oct 2010.
And this is where I'm stuck. After downloading, burning, installing and starting, I'm back to what I was. Upon selecting start FSX and any check to verify my PMDG's installation, I get "JVM failed to initialize" and the following message in the log file:
